How Many People Fit on a 360 Photobooth? Platform Sizes
Compartir
On a 360 photobooth platform, fewer people fit than the optimistic seller promises, and more than someone fears when seeing it for the first time. The honest figure depends on one thing: the diameter. Here is the real equivalence, the one we use when advising anyone who comes to buy their first 360.
The honest table: diameter, people and ideal use
| Diameter | Comfortably fits | Occasional max | Ideal for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80 cm | 1-2 | 2 | Single portraits, branded photo ops, small rooms |
| 100 cm | 2-3 | 3 | Weddings and general events, the best-selling balance |
| 115 cm | 3-4 | 4 | Friend groups, graduations, festivals |
"Comfortable" means they can move, dance and do the choreography without stepping on each other. The "occasional max" is people standing still with arms around each other. If your business is weddings, the typical group that gets on together is the couple plus one or two friends: the 100 cm platform exists precisely for that.
Weight matters more than headcount
More relevant than counting heads is the total load. Professional steel platforms easily support several adults, but each model states its maximum load and it is best to respect it: a platform at the limit vibrates, and vibration shows in the video. With children the count changes (more fit), and with voluminous wedding dresses, fewer than it seems.
Is bigger always better?
Not always. The larger platform weighs more, takes up more space in the car, takes longer to set up and needs a larger safety area (we explain it in the space and measurements guide). If 90% of your events are couples and groups of two, a 115 cm platform is muscle you pay for and do not use. The smart decision is made with your event calendar in front of you, not in the catalogue.
Which size to buy for your case
Just getting started on a tight budget: the Refurbished 80 cm 360 Photobooth for €1,640 VAT included is the entry point: it fits in any car and venue, and for single portraits it performs just like a large one.
You want the professional standard: the Professional 360 Photobooth, brand new at €3,190 VAT included, with up to 3 years of warranty and financing from €199 per month, is the one that covers the full range of events without falling short.
Looking to stand out: the 360 Infinity Mirror adds an infinity mirror effect on the platform and turns the unit itself into an attraction.
Frequently asked questions
Do wheelchairs fit on a 360 photobooth?
On large platforms with a ramp it is possible, although the usual and safer approach is to record with the person next to the platform and the arm adjusted to their height: the result is just as spectacular and the experience is accessible.
Can I change platforms later?
Yes. The arm and the electronics are the largest part of the investment, and many brands sell the platform as a separate piece. Starting with 80 cm and moving up to 100 cm when the business calls for it is a common path.
How many people fit at once on a magic mirror or a vending booth?
The magic mirror photographs large groups because no one steps onto anything: in front of the mirror, six to eight people pose with no problem. If your events are mostly large groups, also check the 22 inch magic mirror.
