The DNP DS620 6x8 thermal paper is the original large-format media for the DNP DS620 printer. Each box includes 2 rolls of 200 prints with two matching ribbons: 400 6x8 inch prints ready to hand over.
One media, six output sizes
This is the most versatile option for the DS620, and it is why many operators choose it even if they mainly shoot 4x6. From the same roll you can print:
- 6x8 inches, the classic large format for framing.
- 6x6 inches square, the top performer on social.
- Two 4x6 prints per sheet, so you can hand two guests a copy in one go.
- 2x6 strips, the photobooth classic.

You switch sizes in the software, without opening the printer or touching the media.
6x8 or 4x6: which one suits you
The DNP DS620 4x6 paper yields 800 prints per box and offers the lowest cost per print. It is what you want for a large wedding or a vending photo booth that runs nonstop.
This 6x8 box yields 400 and costs more per print, but it lets you sell a bigger photo, which is a different, higher-margin product, and gives you all six sizes above with a single SKU in stock. In practice, many pros carry both and choose based on the job.
Compatibility: DS620 and DS620A only
This media is designed exclusively for the DNP DS620 and its US version, the DS620A. It is not compatible with the DS-RX1HS, the QW410, the DS40, the DS80, or the DS820A: every DNP printer calibrates its printhead to its specific paper. If your unit uses a different model, check our DNP photo paper and we will tell you which one you need.

What is DNP DS620 15x20 thermal paper?
This is the original large-format consumable for the DNP DS620 printer. Each box contains two rolls of paper and their two paired ribbons, so you only need one reference to restock: there's no need to calculate ink separately.
How many prints come out of a box?
400 prints of 15x20 cm, two rolls of 200. If you print in smaller formats from the same roll, the number of prints increases proportionally.
What formats can I print with this paper?
15x20 cm, 15x15 cm square, two 10x15 copies per sheet, 5x15 strips, and panoramic sizes of 15x35 and 15x50 cm. The size is selected from the software, without opening the printer or changing the consumable.
How is it different from the 10x15 DS620 paper?
The 10x15 yields 800 prints per box and offers the lowest cost per print: it's ideal for high-capacity events and vending photobooths. The 15x20 yields 400, costs a bit more per print, but allows you to sell large photos and cover six formats with a single reference.
Is it compatible with other DNP printers?
No. This media only works with the DNP DS620 and its American version DS620A. It does not work with the DS-RX1HS, the QW410, the DS40, the DS80, or the DS820A: each DNP printer calibrates its printhead for its exact paper.
Do the photos withstand water and handling?
Yes. Thermal sublimation seals the print with a protective layer during printing, so it comes out dry, water-resistant, fingerprint-proof, and fade-resistant, and can be handled immediately without damaging it.
How is the paper stored?
Closed boxes, standing upright and away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight, using the oldest ones first. When well stored in a dry and cool place, a roll purchased last season prints just as well as one opened today.
